# Widgets Overview

> Many request body parameters only work for some widgets.

Use the [Request Widget URL](/api-reference/platform-api/v20250224/reference/widgets/request-widget-url) endpoint to generate a URL that loads one of our widgets.

If you're using the Connect Widget and are attempting to create an OAuth member, the [Request OAuth Window URI](/api-reference/platform-api/v20250224/reference/widgets/request-oauth-window-uri) endpoint returns a link the end user will open to log into their financial institution and successfully connect their data to our API.
