Enable an App

If an app’s status is set to Active, all API requests that come from that app will be accepted.

To enable an app, select Manage app then Enable.

Disable an App

To disable an app, select Manage app then Disable app. A modal will present a notice of requirements from Section 1033 of the Dodd-Frank Act.

Log reason for disabling

As required by Section 1033 of the Dodd-Frank Act, you must provide a clear reason for denying access to this third-party app. This change will disable existing connections for all of your end-users immediately.

Below this notification, log the reason the app will be disabled. A webhook notification will be sent to the intermediary to notify them of the change using the FDX event notifications framework.

After the app is disabled, requests from the app will be rejected.
