Notifications

The Notifications feature keeps your users informed about account activity, budget status, and financial insights through push and SMS notifications. Your users can customize notification preferences, set thresholds for alerts, and manage delivery methods per notification type.

When your users log in to the app for the first time, the app displays a dialog. Your users press Continue to open the system's permission settings, where they can choose to allow push notifications. If they don't opt in, the app prompts them again after 90 days.

Your users can access notifications through the Dashboard page by selecting the bell icon in the top right of the screen.

After your users select the bell, the notifications screen displays notifications in order of date, with unread notifications highlighted in blue.

The three-dot menu in the top right opens a More Options menu. Here, your users can access the Notifications settings (also available from the general Settings menu) and a feedback form.

Your users can turn off notifications entirely by toggling the Allow Notifications row. Note: if your users select Don't Allow in the device's notification settings, the app disables push notifications but the Allow Notifications row still shows as toggled on.

Your users can also turn delivery methods on and off.

You can configure all notifications. Your users can turn them on and off by account, and adjust the delivery methods (SMS and Push) with the associated toggle switches.
