Settings

The Settings feature provides users with controls for personalizing their app experience and managing account preferences. Users can update profile information, review login history, manage connected accounts, configure transaction rules, and customize the dashboard.

Users can find app settings in the More menu. Available options are View Profile, Login History, Account Manager, Transaction Rules, Dashboard Customization, Theme, and Notifications.

View Profile

The Profile tab shows several fields:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Birthday
  • Email Address
  • Mailing Address
  • Primary Phone Number
  • Secondary Phone Number

Login History

The Login History feature gives users a record of the devices that have accessed their account. The log includes details about each device and the date and time of the last successful login from that device.

Account Manager

The Account Manager page uses the Connections widget. See that page for more information.

Transaction Rules

When users recategorize transactions, the app prompts them to save the new category as a Transaction Rule. Users can edit Transaction Rules from this area. They can choose another category or delete the transaction rule. If users remove transaction rules, the app recategorizes the affected transactions back to their original categories.

Dashboard Customization

Users can choose which accounts appear in the Summary Dashboard. They can drag the accounts to reorder them.

Configurations

Contact your MX representative to select or change your configurations.

View Profile

If true, users can edit these fields themselves.

You may also choose to show a configurable legal disclaimer at the bottom of the user profile. Default message if enabled is “For your security, profile updates are managed on our official website. Changes will be reflected in the app on your next login.”
