How To Add an Account
- On the Accounts page, select Connect to see a list of financial institutions.
- If you can't find your institution, search for the account with the name of the institution you’re looking for. If you still can’t find it, search by its web address, such as fidelity.com or chase.com. You can also add the account manually.
- After you find your institution, select its icon, then enter your credentials for that institution.
- Select Connect. It may take a few minutes for your new account to connect.
How To Add a Manual Account
Maybe one of your financial institutions doesn’t support our software, or you’ve paid off a mortgage, so there isn’t an online account for it. If so, add a manual account to track things with a lot of value: a house, a car, cash, a loan you’re paying back to a friend.
tip
If you’re adding certain types of accounts like car loans or mortgages, it’s important to input the full value of the property associated with the account (like a house or car), so the app will track the positive value of your assets, not just your debt.
- On the Accounts page, select Connect to see a list of financial institutions.
- Scroll to the end, then select Add a Manual Account.
- Give this account a name, a starting balance, and choose an account type.
- Enter account details. Each account type requires different information, so you may need to pull out a statement, make a call, or sign in to another account.
How To Change the Order of Your Accounts
- Select the menu icon.
- Select Settings
- Select Reorder Accounts
- Hold and drag the tiles to change the order they appear.
How To Delete an Account
Deleting an account from the system will delete all the account's details and any associated transactions. This cannot be undone.
- On the Accounts page, select the account you want to delete.
- Select Account Details.
- Select Delete Account.
- You'll see a message warning you that you can't undo the deletion. Select Delete.
How To Manage Your Connected Accounts
This setting will show your accounts, grouped according to financial institution.
- Select one of the logos to bring up a list of all the accounts for that institution that use the same login credentials.
- Select the three dots to the right of an account to hide it.
- Update your credentials for this institution by selecting Update Credentials. You’ll be asked for a username and password.
- Select Connect to re-sync the account with the new credentials.
