The External Relationships category is a series of dashboards that provides metrics related to specific financial products. You can use this data to help determine opportunities to increase revenue.
Direct Deposit
This dashboard provides data and visuals to help you determine opportunities to grow direct deposits within your organization. This dashboard includes the following sections: Direct deposit opportunities, Segmentation, Aggregated direct deposit details – last 90 days, Held direct deposit details – last 90 days.

Direct deposit opportunities

Segmentation

| User tenure | User segregated by the date range they were onboarded to the MX platform. |
| Spending Affinities | The number of users by spending affinities. Spending Affinity is found by looking at non-essential spending within transaction data and finding those users whose spending is more concentrated in a particular area, in comparison to others with similar levels of non-essential spending. |
Aggregated Direct Deposit Details – Last 90 Days

Deposit Variance
This dashboard and its documentation are under active beta development; details and functionality may change at any time.
This dashboard describes which of your users have had unusually high or low deposit activity recently compared to previous deposit activity. You can change the length of the look-back periods and focus on users with positive or negative variance using the filters.
Deposit Trends for the Last 30 Days Compared to 31–60 Days Prior

| Total DDA deposits (recent period) | Total deposits in DDA accounts (Checking and Savings) over the recent period. |

| Average deposit variance | The average variance in the average deposits for by customers between a recent period and a prior period of the same length (where you choose the length of the period). |
| Total DDA deposits (period period) | Total deposits in DDA accounts (Checking and Savings) over the prior period. |
| Average DDA deposit per user | Average deposits in DDA accounts per user over the period. |
| Customer by deposit variance (by Amount) | The number of customers by deposit variance. Deposit variance compares the deposits made in all DDA accounts between a recent period and a prior period of the same length. The difference is shown as a dollar difference. |
| Customer by deposit variance (by Percent) | The number of customers by deposit variance. Deposit variance compares the deposit made in all DDA accounts between a recent period and a prior period of the same length. The difference is shown as a percent of the deposits in the prior period. |
Segmentation

| Customer by spending affinity | The number of users by spending affinities. Spending Affinity is found by looking at non-essential spending within transaction data and finding those users whose spending is more concentrated in a particular area, in comparison to others with similar levels of non-essential spending. |
Credit Card Opportunities
This dashboard provides insights to identify and quantify what other credit cards your customers are using. You can easily use this data to cross sell to a specific audience.
This report includes the following sections:

- Engagement for customers w/ external credit

A Banking Fee is a fee that's charged when an institution is covering a user such as an overdraft fee. |
