Direct Deposit

The mobile app can allow end users to switch or set up their direct deposit, increasing direct deposits to your institution.

Percentage allocation is available as a toggled feature if your payment provider supports it. This can be turned on for your users through the direct deposit provider.

To use this, you must populate account and routing numbers using the MDX Real Time API: Create or Update Account Number.

Entry Points​

This feature has several entry points where users are prompted to set up or switch their direct deposit:

  • Dashboard Card: A card shows in the app's dashboard and can be moved or hidden by the end user.
  • Menu: Direct Deposit appears in the menu.
  • Deposits: The bottom menu in the Deposits feature indicates Deposit checks and Direct deposit.
  • Pre-built Banner: A one-time banner displays in the Notifications feature.
  • Insights Widget: Two insights can appear in the full feed and will prompt users to set up or switch their direct deposit.
  • Micro Widget: Two insights can appear in the Micro Widget on the Dashboard and will send users to the full feed.
